Head of Questionnaire Development
Theresa Fabel is Head of Questionnaire Development and is responsible for the development, implementation and quality assurance of survey questionnaires and software tools at SHARE.
She has many years of experience in questionnaire design and the management of complex survey instruments. A key focus of her work is the further development of multimodal survey designs.
The methodological focus of her research encompasses mode effects, the harmonisation of instruments across survey modes, and the development of inclusive survey instruments, particularly with regard to gender diversity, linguistic minorities and older or vulnerable population groups. In addition, she analyses digital participation among the 50+ population and highlights social inequalities in internet usage in a European comparison.
