Dr. Barbara Thumann is a member of the Questionnaire Development team at the SHARE Berlin Institute, where she manages the translation process across all 28 SHARE countries. She has extensive experience in project coordination, development of survey instruments and data analysis, particularly within European research projects.
An epidemiologist by training, Dr. Thumann earned her doctoral degree from the University of Bremen, Germany, under joint supervision with Ghent University, Belgium. Her research interests focus on the interrelationship between mental and physical health outcomes.
