Research Data Centre
Jana is part of the Research Data Centre and Communication team at the SHARE BERLIN Institute. She contributes to the Institute’s work on the social dimensions of the green transition, with a particular focus on labour markets, grand structural transformation, and inequalities.
She is an economist and development researcher and holds an M.A. in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague. Her research addresses labour market transformations, informality, and the global political economy of sustainability transitions.
Before joining SHARE BERLIN, she worked at Circle Economy Foundation in Amsterdam, leading research on decent work in the circular economy in collaboration with the ILO and the World Bank. She has also conducted research on regional trade patterns, industrial upgrading, and inequality in Southeast Asia.
