Berlin Ageing Research Forum

This half-day interactive online event brings together researchers from SHARE BERLIN Institute and researchers from our shareholder institutions: the University hospital Charité Berlin, the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), and the German Centre of Gerontology (DZA).

The program features scientific presentations with lively discussion and interactive activities designed to spark new collaborations across Berlin’s leading ageing research community.  

Topics span recent developments in SHARE and research into: 

• Marital histories and wellbeing
• Social support and caregiving in later life 
• AI and age discrimination
• National health monitoring of older adults 
• Neuroimaging approaches to dementia risk
• Intersectional sleep disparities
